Who are we?

Kronos SA was founded in 1994 by two friends passionate about motorsport, Jean-Pierre Mondron and Marc Van Dalen.

Why Kronos? In Greek mythology, Kronos or Cronus, son of Uranus (the Sky) and Gaia (the Earth), is the king of the Titans and the father of Zeus. In short, Kronos embodies time. And what is more important than time in competition?

Based in Naninne (Belgium), at the heart of Europe, Kronos made global motorsport headlines for nearly 20 years (1994-2012) as a racing team and car preparer, achieving unprecedented success. Since then, its reputation has earned it a place among the world's top motorsport specialists.

Starting in 2009, Kronos diversified its activities, focusing on two key areas: the distribution of competition tires (Kronos Tyres) and the creation of Kronos Events in 2012, ensuring its long-term development.

Thanks to excellent relations and shared sporting success, a true partnership was born between Kronos Tyres and Michelin. As a result, a commercial collaboration began in 2009, with Kronos Tyres becoming the distributor of circuit competition tires in the Netherlands. The following year, in 2010, this agreement expanded to cover the BENELUX region, excluding rally tires in the Netherlands. Rally tires in the Netherlands were added in 2011.
